ABOUT THE PARTICLE POST
What is The Particle Post?
The Particle Post is a monthly science mail club for curious people. Each issue begins with a different scientific question and becomes a tactile collection of stories, illustrations, things to try and collectable paper-based bits.
Who is it for?
Anyone who's curious. The Particle Post is made for curious adults and young people who enjoy discovering how the world works. You don't need a science background, just a willingness to wonder about things.
Younger scientists may need a grown-up's help with some activities.
What will I receive?
Every issue is different. You can expect a science story from Dr. K alongside a changing mix of experiments, puzzles, illustrations, postcards, stickers and other collectable paper pieces inspired by that month's investigation.
Will every issue contain the same things?
No, and that's part of the fun. The contents are designed around each month's investigation, so the exact combination of things inside your Particle Post will change from issue to issue.
Is it digital or physical?
The Particle Post is physical mail delivered through your letterbox. Everything inside is designed to be enjoyed on paper...opened, unfolded, scribbled on, experimented with, sent, stuck somewhere or kept.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
How much does it cost?
Founding Particles joining from Issue 001 pay £8.88/month, including UK shipping. Your Founding Particle rate remains yours for as long as your subscription stays continuously active.
When will I be charged?

Which issue will I receive first?
Subscribe by the monthly cutoff and your subscription will begin with the upcoming issue. For our launch, subscribe by 1 October 2026 to receive PP_001.
When is the monthly cutoff?
For PP_001, the launch cutoff is 1 October 2026.
From PP_002 onwards, the cutoff for each month's issue is the 25th of the previous month. Subscribe by the cutoff to receive the upcoming issue.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely. The Particle Post is a rolling monthly subscription and you can cancel any time. If you cancel before the cutoff for an upcoming issue, you won't receive that issue. If payment for an upcoming issue has already been processed when you cancel, you'll still receive that issue, but your subscription will end before the following month's edition.
From PP_002 onwards, the monthly cutoff is the 25th of the previous month. For example, to stop your subscription before the November issue, cancel by 25 October. If payment for PP_002 has already been processed, PP_002 will still be sent to you, but you won't receive PP_003 in December.
What happens to my Founding Particle price if I cancel?
If you cancel and later choose to rejoin, the subscription price available at that time will apply.
DELIVERY
When will my Particle Post be sent?
Particle Posts are usually dispatched during the first week of each month. PP_001 will ship in the first week of October 2026.
How much is UK delivery?
UK shipping is included in your £8.88 monthly subscription.
Do you ship internationally?

What if my Particle Post doesn't arrive?
Occasionally, post takes a little longer than expected. If your Particle Post hasn't arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact hello@theparticlepostclub.com and we'll be happy to help.
PROBLEMS WITH AN ORDER
Can I get a refund or replacement?
If your Particle Post arrives damaged or we've made a mistake with your order, please get in touch and we'll be happy to help. Depending on the circumstances, we'll arrange a replacement or refund.
If your issue hasn't yet arrived, please allow for the normal delivery window, particularly for international post.
